☆ solid 頼りになる
============================
Today’s word is not actually a slang word, but it is probably used more by younger people than older ones. If you describe someone (or something) as solid, you mean that they are very reliable and dependable.
Our company is looking to hire someone who is solid and stable.
He has a solid reputation.
The police have solid information about where the suspect is.
I think she will be a solid addition to the team.
Do you know anyone who is “solid”? What makes you think they are solid? Is it something they have done in the past or something they always do that makes you feel that they are solid and reliable?
Bye,
