A few days ago I told you about the runner’s biography that I read that was “amusing enough” but poorly written. The book was only 250 pages long, but it was so badly written that I didn’t really enjoy it at all!! However, her stories were so amazing and the things she did were so courageous, that I really had to read and find out what happened next!
Her name is Lisa Tamati, and she is a New Zealander of Maori descent. She has done many ultra runs of over 200kms at one time through the Sahara, and Death Valley in the USA. Actually, when I was reading her stories, I thought she was really courageous… but now I’m wondering if she was just crazy!!! Ha ha!
Do you know anyone who is courageous? What makes them courageous in your opinion?
