============================
Today’s word is an adjective again, and it means that something has many different parts and is therefore difficult to understand. For example, “it is a complex machine” or “she has a complex personality.” Here are some fun quotes using “complex” as an adjective.
“Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex… It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.” Albert Einstein.
“For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.” (H.L. Mencken, American journalist 1880-1956)
And I really like this one, by Barbra Streisand, with a whole of lot of opposites in it! Great for learning English words!
“I am simple, complex, generous, selfish, unattractive, beautiful, lazy, and driven.”
Bye,
