☆ hang out with  ~と共に過ごす
============================
Today’s word is also informal, meaning to spend time (somewhere) with someone. For example:
A: What do you do during school holidays?
B: Hang out with friends.
Or
A: What do you like to do on the weekends?
B: I usually hang out with my boyfriend.
Also, note that when the word is used as one word, in other words, not “hang out” but “hangout” then it becomes a noun describing a place where you like to spend time. For example:
I like to hang out with friends at the beach during summer.
The beach is my favorite summer hangout.
The park is a popular place to hang out (with friends).
The park is our local hangout.
Bye,
Chris
