This month has been about diversity and inclusion. Have you ever heard the saying “It’s our differences that make us the same”? Actually I’m not sure that this is the correct quote, and there is no information on the Internet about who said it originally, but it is a very common thing that people say.
Basically, I guess what this saying means is that we are all different, and that is what makes us humans… and we are all humans, so we are all the same. Hmmm, when ou think about it, it’s actually not easy to explain this saying! How would you interpret this saying? And do you agree with it?
Another way to think about the benefits of our differences is that if we all played the one same musical note, then there would be no songs. We need differences in the music to make it into a song. We need differences between ourselves to make us human. What do you think?
