☆ adventurous  大胆な
============================
Someone who is adventurous is willing to take risks and to try new methods. You could also say that they are daring, bold, a daredevil, or enterprising. For example, “He was an adventurous businessman and always willing to try new things.” Or, “The menu at this restaurant used to be more adventurous, now it’s just the same as any family restaurant.”
You can also be adventurous in your English study! What are some new methods you could use to study English? For example, you could try attending workshops or seminars in Japan where the teacher is an English speaker. Usually these events have a translator so this doesn’t have to be too adventurous! You could join a book club which reads English books. Or if you can’t find one, you could start your own book club that just reads English books. If you have the chance to travel to an English speaking country you could leave your map in the hotel room (and not use any smartphone apps!) so you are forced to ask for help or directions!
In what way can you be more adventurous in your English study?
Bye,
Chris
