Have you heard of this word? If you are into comics, anime, or even super hero movies you might know this word as a proper noun, because it is the name of an American publishing company known as Marvel Comics. They developed the well known characters such as Spiderman, The Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Iron Man (as well as many others!) The characters all live in a universe that mirrors our cities here on earth, and it is called Marvel Universe.
Of course, that’s not the only way to use today’s word! You can also use it instead of words like wonder or be amazed. Here are some example sentences.
Her fellow coworkers marveled at her endless energy.
I marveled again at the beautiful scenery.
We can only marvel at the wonders of nature.
