It’s almost the end of March, just one more day and there will only be three quarters of 2014 left! Are you still feeling enthusiastic about the goals you set at the beginning of the year? What about English? I hope you are still feeling enthusiastic about learning and using English!
If you’re not feeling enthusiastic or excited at the moment, what could you do to rekindle the excitement in your goals generally or for your specific English goals? I find that a “goals tracker” helps me stay enthusiastic. So for running, I set a goal of running four times per week. And during my run, I try to take a photo of the most beautiful thing that I see. Then I put the photo on a calendar so I can see which days I ran and which days I didn’t run (because there is no photo on the days I didn’t run).
This has really helped me stay enthusiastic about running even after three months of 2014. I can look at the calendar and see immediately how much I have run. And of course it’s fun to try and find beautiful things to photograph each time. (I just use my iPhone of course!)
