☆ influence 影響力
============================
We can use today’s word to describe the power that someone or something has to affect other people’s behavior or decisions. For example, “Teachers have some influence over what is taught in class.” Or “They thought he was a bad influence on the children.” Or “Today’s topic is the influence of religion on society.”
Influence can also be used as a verb, but in that situation, you don’t need to use a preposition such as “on” or “over”. For example: “I didn’t offer to help because I didn’t want to influence his decision.” Or, “stop trying to influence me!”
Can you use influence as a noun – or verb – in a sentence?
Bye,
