When I saw today’s word, I thought, “Oh no! We made a spelling mistake!!” For a second, I thought that the spelling was “bare” not “bear”! Sometimes English spelling is impossible even for native speakers!
Two popular sayings in English use these two words:
Bear in mind (today’s word)
And
Bare one’s soul (心を打ち明ける)
The pronunciation is the same, so sometimes the spelling can be confusing!
