This word can be used to describe a person who is truly dedicated to something, for example, someone who strongly believes in socialism (社会主義) could be called a committed socialist. A school teacher who is always doing their best to help the kids they teach could be called a “committed teacher”. Two people can be in a committed relationship meaning that they are not dating anyone else, only each other.
What else could you describe with this word? A “committed English student” perhaps??
