Do you know this word? It is used to describe a person
who wants to do or have something very much. For example,
“He was eager to talk about his new job” or “the sale starts
at 9am and there are many eager buyers waiting outside!”

There is also an idiom using this word: “an eager beaver”.
This describes someone who works very hard and is a very
eager person. “Beaver” is used because people believe that
beavers are very hard workers. Here’s an example, “She’s such
an eager beaver that she came into work on the weekend to
finish her project!”
