What do you do when you come across a word that is hard to
remember? One idea is find alternatives that have the same or
similar meanings. So, words that you could use instead of “inadequate”
are: insufficient, not up to scratch, faulty

But, in fact, those words might be difficult to remember too! So finding
alternative words is an “inadequate” solution!! Instead, you could create
sentences using the word, so that you can remember it more easily.

Here are some examples – but of course, it’s best if you make your own:
There are inadequate food and medicine supplies for the disaster area.
There is inadequate staffing to finish the project on time.

覚えにくい単語と出会った時には、どうしますか？
同じような意味を持つ他の単語をみつける方法がありますね。
今日の単語“inadequate”の代わりに使える言葉は、“insufficient (不適当な)”、“not up to scratch (一定の水準に達していない)”、“faulty (不完全な)”などです。

しかし実際には、これらの単語も覚えにくいかもしれないですよね。
つまり、同じ意味を持つ別の単語をみつけるのは、“不適切な”解決法なのです！
その代わりに、単語を使った文章を作る方が、覚えやすいかもしれません。
