This week’s Useful Phrases includes one, “Japanese society
seems very orderly compared to other countries.” What do you
think about this statement? Do you agree or disagree?

How would you respond to a foreigner if they said this to you?
Would you agree and explain why Japan is more orderly than other
countries, or would you disagree? Or would you choose not to
respond??

The Useful Phrases section sometimes contains phrases you
can use, and sometimes phrase that others might say to you –
so it’s a good idea to think about how you would respond in
that situation. This is good practice for your English, too, of course!
