☆ vain　うぬぼれの強い

When I was in high school there was a girl in my class who
was so vain, that in our cooking classes, she used to use the
spoons and other shiny implements to check her make up! Lol.
I still remember her, even though it was many years ago… actually,
I don’t remember “her” I just remember how vain she was!

Do you know anyone who is vain? What do you think about this
trait? Is it a positive or negative trait in your opinion?

高校生の時、クラスにとてもうぬぼれの強い女の子がいました。
調理の時間にスプーンや、他の光沢のある調理器具を使って自分のお化粧をチェックしていたのですから！笑！
もう何年も経つのに、私はまだ彼女のことを覚えています。
というか、“彼女”自体は覚えてないのですが、彼女のうぬぼれ具合を記憶しているのです。
