☆ toss 捨てる

============================

Do you know today’s word? I use this word often, it is basically
the slang version of “throw away”. It doesn’t always mean to
“toss” it in the trash, it can also mean to put it in a different
place, but without really caring about putting it there neatly.
Here are some ways that I use it:

Q: Where should I put this?
A: I don’t mind, just toss it in the cupboard.

Sorry, I didn’t think it was important, I just tossed it in the bin.

He tossed me a can of beer from fridge.

By the way, one more informal way to use this word, is as the verb,
“give a toss”, and it means “care”. Here is a common example: I
don’t give a toss what people say (about me).

See you,
Chris

Q:Where should I put this?
A:I don’t mind, just toss it in the cupboard.

Sorry, I didn’t think it was important, I just tossed it in the bin.

He tossed me a can of beer from the fridge.

“I don’t give a toss what people say. ”
