If someone confesses to doing something wrong, they admit that
they did it. It can be a very bad thing, such as a murder! Or it could
be something as simple as not doing homework.

Here are some example sentences:
He confessed to committing the seven murders.
She confessed that she felt helpless.

During dinner, she confessed that she had changed her mind.
