Have you ever heard this word? You probably have, but I hope you
haven’t ever had to use it to describe your experience! Here is an
example sentence:

My ex-boyfriend tried to cheat me out of money that he owed me.

By the way this “cheat” is different from “cheat on” which means to
have an affair. And to “cheat on” on a test means to dishonestly
get the answers to a test.

耳にしたことはあるでしょうが、まさか経験を語る際に使ってはないですよね？！
例を挙げてみます：

(私の元彼は、私から借りたお金をだまし取ろうとした)

ところで、「cheat」は、浮気をするという意味の「cheat on」とは違います。
さらに、「cheat on a test」は、試験の答えで不正をするという意味です。
