Recently I was talking with a friend and she mentioned that
young Japanese people leaving university and looking for jobs
are having a tough time appealing to new employers. One reason
we thought of was that foreign students studying in Japan can
appeal to employers because they are bilingual.
Do you think English is something that is necessary for finding
employment in Japan, even in a domestic company? Is speaking
another language something that appeals to employers in Japan,
or is it not very important?
