As I said, I am preparing these mini-mails in advance for while
I am in Australia, I’m going via Tokyo… so right now I should
be there, reconnecting with old friends and family. I hope so!

How often do you reconnect with people you have lost contact
with? How do you reconnect? Is it by chance or through one
of the social media sites available these days?

前にも書きましたが、オーストラリアに帰国する予定があるので、このミニ･レッスン・メールを前もって書いています。
オーストラリアには、東京経由で行きますが、今頃は家族や古い友人と「reconnect　(再びつなぐ・再会)」していることでしょう。

連絡が途絶えた友人と再び繋がるには、どのような方法をとりますか？
偶然の再会を待つか、最近ではソーシャルメディアのサイトを通して、また繋がることもありますね。
