Today’s word, “judge” means to decide or estimate or consider something.
This word is also used in a couple of idioms:

“A good judge of character.”
This means that you are able to understand people well, and make a good
decision about them. The opposite is also used. If you are a “bad judge of
character” it means that you are not able to understand a person’s personality
well.

“It’s true as far as I can judge”
This means that you are assuming that something is true, even though you
