Today’s word, “disappointment” is a noun, and it can be used as
an uncountable or uncountable noun. When it is uncountable, the
meaning is similar to “dissatisfaction”. When it is countable, the meaning
is similar to feeling “let down”. Here are some examples:

Uncountable:
Book early to avoid disappointment.
The final game ended in great disappointment.

Countable:
His test result was a bitter disappointment.
She was a big disappointment to her family.
