Do you know any other words for delicious? How about these:

Delectable
Appetizing
Mouthwatering
Scrumptious (informal)
Tasty

And, do you know what to say when the food is NOT delicious, but
you want to be polite? Here are some examples:

It’s good, but I’m full.
It’s a little too spicy for me.
I’m sorry, but I’m a vegetarian. (OK, this is a little extreme!)

In other words, you don’t really want to say something that will upset the
person who cooked it, but at the same time, you want to make sure they
don’t cook it for you again, right? How can you politely refuse food in
Japan?　Or do you grin and bear it, and just eat it?

言い換えれば、作ってくれた人を怒らせたくないので何も言いたくはないけれど、同時に、再びそれを作らないようにする、ということですよね。

または、笑って我慢して食べてしまいますか？
