The Japanese translation of this word made
me think of another use of this word. In English,
when children put on fun clothes, or clothes that
are too big for them as a game, we say they are
“playing dress up”.

I guess “playing dress up” in Japanese is actually
“Cos-Play”, right? So what is the name for the game
when the kids play?　And, I guess this is an important
thing to remember – the katakana word can sometimes
mean something different than what you thought.

今日の単語の日本語訳を見て、違う言葉を思い出しました。
子ども達がおもしろい服や大きすぎる服を着るゲームを、英語で「playing dress up」と呼んでいます。

もしかしたら、日本語で「playing dress up」は、「コスプレ」と言うのでしょうか？
そうすると、子ども達がやるゲームはなんと言うのでしょうか？
そして大事なポイントですが、カタカナ英語は、日本人が思っている意味と違う場合がたまにある、ということです。
