When I was younger I wanted to be an archaeologist like Indy Jones. It seemed so exciting to be able to discover all those ancient tombs and so on.

However, when I learned about the real job of being an archaeologist and found out that only a few people ever discover anything… And that it requires a lot of patience I decided it wasn’t a good choice for me! Ha ha.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were younger?

私は、若い時、インディージョーンズのような考古学者になりたかったです。
古墳などを発見するのはすごくエキサイティングに見えました。

しかし、考古学者の仕事を調査すると、ほんの一握りの考古学者だけが何かを発見できる、ということが分かりました。
さらに、多くの忍耐力が必要だと分かり、私には向いてないな～と決めたのです（笑）
