For me, one of the most enriching experiences
I’ve had has been living in another country.

When I was 12 my family lived in LA for a year.
Then I came to Japan when I was 16 for a short
homestay. And then again in the 90’s I came
back to live here. All of these were different,
and all of them were enriching experiences.

What kind of enriching experiences have
you had in your life?

私の経験で言えば、一番豊かな経験は生まれた国と違う国に住んでみることです。

１２歳のとき、１年くらい家族と一緒にロサンジェルスに住みました。
そして、１６歳のとき、日本に来て１ヶ月くらいのホームステイをしました。
さらに、９０年代の終わりにもう一度日本に来て以来、ここに住んでいます。
これらは全部違いますが、すべて豊かな経験です。
