words and usage.

“Modern” is used to describe things that exist now
that are different from earlier things of the same kind.
e.g. The stresses of modern life.

“Contemporary”has the same meaning as “modern” but it
is used to describe abstract things, art or music.
e.g. Contemporary society.

“Current”describes things that exist now, but might
change in the future.
e.g. She is his current girlfriend!
