Last week we had the noun, “choice” and this week the verb, “to choose”… Let’s look at some example sentence on how to use the verb:

At a restaurant: You can choose any dish you like, it’s on me.

Hiking: If we choose that path, we might get lost.

At a store: Please hurry up and choose!

Travel: I always choose to fly rather than take the bullet train.

Another word you might like to add to your vocabulary is this:

The chosen few.

Can you think what it means? Basically it means “elite” and refers to a small group of people who are treated better than others for some reason. This word is usually used in a negative way.
