☆difficult 難しい

============================

Just like yesterday’s word,

I’m sure this is a word you already know, so

I want to share some idioms with you again.

I’m not sure why,

but in English,

“water” idioms are often used to describe

difficult situations.

Here are some more common ones:

◆     To be in deep water

= in a difficult situation that is hard to deal with.

◆     To be in hot water

= same as above, but in this situation,

you might also get in trouble for your actions.

◆     To be like a fish out of water

= in a difficult or awkward situation.

◆     To be out of one’s depth

= to be in a very difficult situations.

I hope you don’t have to use these

idioms too often!!

Bye,

Chris

◆     To be in deep water

◆     To be in hot water

◆     To be like a fish out of water

◆     To be out of one’s depth
