Clothes that are loose are rather large and do not fit your body closely. Another word you could use is baggy, or earlier in the month, we used the word “oversized.” There is a slight difference in the nuance of these two words though.

Clothing that is loose, might be loose because you have lost weight, or because the style doesn’t fit you well. Or because you bought a bigger size than you needed. Or it might have even stretched after being washed a lot! However, something that is oversized, is usually deliberately bigger and looser than it needs to be, because that is how it is meant to be for the fashion.
