Today’s Word: confused

When you are feeling confused, you don’t know exactly what is happening or what to do. For example, “I’m confused about what to eat to stay healthy as there are so many conflicting ideas.” Or, “We’re moving house soon, but things are happening too quickly and I feel so confused!”

When do you feel confused? What sorts of situations make you feel confused? When you are feeling confused do you have any other feelings at the same time? For example, do you feel stressed or anxious? Or do you feel OK and comfortable even though you are confused? In the PhotoReading seminar, we teach that feeling confused is OK! It’s the brain trying to learn and understand new things. So, if you do feel anxious when you are confused, try to remember it’s just your brain learning!
