When you treasure something that you have, you keep it or care for it carefully because it gives you great pleasure and you think it is very special. Now, from this definition, you might think that you can only treasure “things.” However, that is not true, in fact, one of the most common “things” that people treasure are memories from their younger days.

So, since it’s nearly 2018, why not take a look back over 2017 and think about all the great memories you have from this year… what memories will you treasure from 2017? Are there any actual “things” such as gifts or things you bought, that you treasure? For me, there are many memories that I treasure of course, but in terms of “things”, the thing I treasure most is a vintage armchair that I bought from a second-hand shop. I just love it! I sit in it, and read my books… so nice!
