☆  crave  切望する

If you crave something, you want it very much. Most of the time when we use crave, we are talking about food, but it can also be used for other things. For example, you might say that you are craving fresh air after being stuck in a train for a long ride home! Or someone might be craving love, if they are feeling lonely.

However, mostly it’s used for foods, or additive things, like craving a cigarette, or an alcoholic drink, or sugar! I often find myself craving sugary foods, like chocolate! How about you? Is there a food that you often crave? What is it? Do you give in and eat what you are craving or do you try and be strong and not eat it?
