Something that is fragrant has a pleasant, sweet smell. You might think this word is mostly used for flowers, or things like essential oils, however foods and fruits, and of course herbs can all be very fragrant too.

The fragrant smell of freshly baked bread is one of the most potent smells for western people! The smell can help sell your house, because people are attracted to the smell of it!
