Today’s Word: considerate

April 5, 2017 =========

☆  considerate  思いやりのある

============================

Someone who is considerate pays attention to the needs, wishes, or feelings of other people. For example, you might describe your husband or wife like this, “I think he’s(she’s) the most considerate man (woman) I’ve ever known.” And you might describe Japanese society as one where people are considerate of each other.

The opposite of considerate is inconsiderate. When you accuse someone of being inconsiderate, you think they are being thoughtless and not taking enough care over how their words or actions will affect other people. In Australia, this word is most often used to describe drivers! Drivers are often very inconsiderate to pedestrians and cyclists. How about in Japan?
