☆ intense  強烈な
============================
“That was intense, man!” is a phrase you might hear in the movies. “Intense” is used to describe things or situations that are extreme in strength or degree. So, in the previous example, the situation that just happened was “intense” in other words, it was a powerful or deep experience.
You can have an intense feeling or an intense gaze when you look at someone. If you are at work and there is a lot of pressure to finish some work, you might have an intense day. The first time you drank strong liquor you might have had an intense burning sensation in your throat.
As you can see, you can use “intense” to describe many different situations. Have you had an intense experience recently? What was it?
Bye,
Chris
