☆ exquisite とても美しい
============================
Something that is exquisite is extremely beautiful or pleasant, especially in a delicate way. It could be a thing, or it could even be a skill, for example, “Her manners are exquisite” meaning that she has wonderful and charming manners.
Food can also have an exquisite taste, meaning that it is delicate and has a pleasing flavor. If you really wanted to compliment someone who cooked you a meal, you could say, “Thank you for dinner, it was exquisite.” However, that might be a little too strong, so only use it if the meal really was more delicious than usual! Do you know the chocolatier Royce, from Hokkaido? They recently opened a store in my hometown – the only store in Australia! And I often give a box of the raw chocolates as a gift, and people always say the taste is exquisite. Would you agree?
Bye,
