☆ charismatic　　カリスマ的な

Who do you think of when you think of a charismatic person? In western culture, especially in the US, it is the charismatic people that get elected to be president. For example, Bill Clinton, Obama, even Reagan was considered very charismatic (I guess he learned that when he was a Hollywood actor.)
What about in Japan? Are politicians charismatic? From a foreigner’s point of view, I would say “not really”. Not to be rude, but prime minister Abe isn’t really that charismatic – but this might just be my opinion! Ha ha. 🙂
What about you? Do you think non-Japanese politicians are more charismatic than Japanese politicians? Is being charismatic for politicians? What about for everyday people, is being charismatic something you think is important?
