What kinds of things do you think about when you hear the word, “design”? I mean, what kinds of things do people “design”? Thinking about how to use the word can help you learn and remember it more easily. So, for example, with today’s word, there are so many things that we can design, but most people can only think of a few things such as “design a website” or “design a house.” What else can we design? Here are some more ideas:
clothes, shoes, fashion
buildings
machines
product packaging
a survey
a policy
a system
You could even design an English study course! If you have free time today, why not design your own English study course and timetable for the next month?
