Today’s word has a few slang words that have a similar meaning. Someone who is competitive and cannot stand losing is called a “poor loser” in English. Have you heard this word before? If you are “poor” at something it means you cannot do it well. So this kind of person would be “poor” or bad at losing.
I think it’s OK to be competitive, but it’s important to be a “good loser” and not complain or blame others if you lose. And it’s also important to be a “good winner” and not gloat or be rude to the other people who didn’t win. What do you think?
Bye,
