☆ mature 大人っぽい
============================
In English we often use the word “mature” to talk about people, but we can also use it to describe wine and cheese and other things that “get better with age” (年を取るにつれてうまくなる).
When we talk about people, we either say, “he is so mature” or “he is so grown-up”. You can use either “mature” or “grown-up”, but we often use “grown-up” to talk about someone we have known since they were young. In other words, we are comparing them to how they were many years ago. When we don’t really know the person and we are comparing them to other people the same age, it’s more usual to say “mature”.
