☆　inspiration　ひらめき

A lot of people believe that they have to have inspiration in order
to succeed, or to be considered creative. However, someone who
had a lot of inspiration in his life was Edison, right? This is what he
said:

“Genius: one percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration.”

I guess it’s similar to yesterday’s story – if you have an idea, or
inspiration, but don’t add in the “perspiration” (action and hard work)
then you might never achieve your goal. I guess we can use this
Edison quote to keep our motivation high when we are feeling low,
Right? 🙂

多くの人が、成功をしたり創造的であるためには「inspiration(ひらめき)」が必要だと考えます。しかし、ひらめきが多かったと思われているエジソンの言葉がこちらです：

“Genius: one percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration”
天才は、1パーセントのひらめきと、99パーセントの努力である。

きのうの話と少し似ているかもしれません。
アイディアや、ひらめきが浮かんでも、そこに努力(行動、努力すること)が加わらない限り、ゴールを達成することはないでしょう。
気分的に落ち込んでいる時も、このエジソンの格言で、モチベーションを保つことが出来るかもしれませんね。:)
