Have you ever heard of the Socrates saying that “an unexamined life is
not worth living”? I think that this means that we must examine our lives –
our thoughts and actions… and to think about our purpose, and of course,
the “future me”. If we don’t think about this, and examine our lives, then
our life is wasted.

What do you think this quote means? Do you ever take time to examine
your own life and values? Are you living life in accordance with your
own rules and beliefs? What is your plan for the “future you”?

というソクラテスの言葉をご存知ですか？
ということは、自分の人生を、つまりは考え方や行動を検討しなければならないということですね。
そして目的や、“未来の自分”について考えるのです。
このことを考えず、人生について検討することをしなければ、人生が無駄になってしまいます。
