Today’s word is the formal way of describing
something with stripes. Yes, that’s right, there
is an informal way, too! The word is “stripey”.

Isn’t that funny! Striped and Stripey are
almost the same, but “striped” is the formal
word, so you see it in writing. And when you
are speaking, you can use either striped or
stripey.
