And the second part of the quote from yesterday is that fortune-telling “mirrors the present”. I read an interesting article that suggests this is true. The psychic or fortune-teller can gather information about us, from the way we are dressed, wedding rings and so on, and then they suggest ideas that might mirror or reflect that.

If we already have that belief in our subconscious mind, then being told it by a fortune-teller makes us believe it even more. And then similar to the Law of Attraction we end up making that “future” come true for us. So, is it really fortune-telling? Or just mirroring our thoughts and beliefs that we already have?
