One of the funny everyone says about running is that it’s a very cheap sport; you just need shoes and shorts and a shirt. But of course, like any sport, once you start really getting into it, it is actually a very expensive sport! For women, you need a good sports bra, which are very expensive. You also need expensive shoes, and technical sportswear. Oh, and a GPS watch. Ouch! Those are expensive too. Then, of course, if you’re running long distance, you need your backpack or water belt and so on… Yes, running has been one of the most expensive “cheap” sports I’ve ever done. Lol 🙂
