This is an informal word, and you wouldn’t really use it in a business situation. You’d use it to talk to friends for example. So, a workaholic is someone who works most of the time and finds it difficult to stop working, so they don’t have much time to do other things, like their hobby and fun things in life. I guess if their work is their hobby, then being a workaholic might not be too bad, but really, everyone needs a break and rest sometimes.
